Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement websites using WordPress.
Develop custom themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Customize existing themes, templates, and plugins.
Ensure high-performance and availability of websites.
Manage website maintenance, updates, and performance optimizations.
Work with design and content teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional websites.
Perform website backups, security monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and responsiveness.

Required Skills

Proficiency in WordPress CMS (Gutenberg, Classic Editor, Customizer)
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
Theme and plugin development/customization
Understanding of REST APIs and AJAX
Basic knowledge of MySQL and database queries
Tools & Platforms:
Git, GitHub or Bitbucket
cPanel, FTP, phpMyAdmin, Hosting Environments
SEO tools and best practices
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and tag management

Soft Skills

Creative thinking and attention to detail
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to manage time and multiple projects effectively

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
