Urgent Opening For QA Executive at Cogent Foods

Job Summary:

The Quality Executive will oversee the quality assurance processes within the food production facility, ensuring that all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to enhance product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality management systems in compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC).

· Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and non-conformance reports, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

· Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices. Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.

· Corrective Actions: Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions for non-conformities. Monitor effectiveness of these actions.

· Compliance: Stay updated on food safety regulations and ensure the organization complies with local, national, and international standards.

· Collaboration: Work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and support product development initiatives.

· Audits: Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food tech, food science or a related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in the food industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality regulations and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
