Job Title:

CAM Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create accurate CAM programs using

  Mastercam

  software
• Interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and 3D models
  
• Input product designs into Mastercam and generate optimized toolpaths
  
• Select appropriate cutting tools and machining strategies
  
• Simulate and validate toolpaths for accuracy and efficiency
  
• Coordinate with design and production teams for program validation
  
• Adjust programs and machine settings based on feedback or deviations
  
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during production
  
• Maintain and update CAM program documentation
  
• Support troubleshooting during the machining process
  
• Train junior staff on CAM programming procedures and Mastercam usage

Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  
• 3 to 8 years of experience in

  CAM Programming using Mastercam

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D toolpath generation
  
• Strong understanding of CNC machining operations and cutting tools
  
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and models
  
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool room operations
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  
• Willingness to work in shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  
• Knowledge of Siemens control is an added advantage
