Role & responsibilities

1. Alumni Engagement & Networking

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with alumni.

• Create platforms (social media, portals, groups) to keep alumni connected.

• Organize alumni meets, reunions, and networking events (both online & offline).

• Facilitate mentorship opportunities between alumni and current students.

2. Communication & Outreach

• Regularly update alumni with newsletters, magazines, or digital communication.

• Manage and update alumni contact databases.

• Highlight alumni achievements through institutional communication channels.

• Act as the point of contact for alumni inquiries.

3. Event Coordination

• Plan and execute alumni association events (annual meets, webinars, guest lectures).

• Collaborate with faculty, management, and student coordinators for smooth execution.

• Maintain event budgets and reports.

4. Fundraising & Institutional Support

• Encourage alumni contributions towards scholarships, infrastructure, or research.

• Coordinate alumni-led fundraising initiatives.

• Develop strategies to involve alumni in institutional development activities.

5. Career & Academic Support

• Build an alumni mentoring system for career guidance and internships.

• Engage alumni as guest speakers, recruiters, or resource persons.

• Facilitate job and placement opportunities through alumni networks.

6. Administration & Reporting

• Maintain alumni association records and reports.

• Ensure proper documentation of meetings, events, and fundraising activities.

• Submit periodic updates to the institutions management.

• Assist in framing policies for alumni association activities.

7. Relationship Building

• Strengthen bonds between alumni and current students.

• Recognize and honor distinguished alumni.

• Promote a culture of giving back to the institution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keep alumni data updated & deep (old & new alumni)

2. Ensure Alumni Key interest area & knowledge

3. Create & execute a strong engagement calendar to keep alumni activated

4. Drive public recognition of worthy alumni from the faculty, director and other senior

people.

5. Create analytics on the Ability, Willingness & Interest areas of Alumni.
