Role & responsibilities Must have 9 years exp in quality function within the cable or wire manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of cable testing standards (e.g., IS, IEC, ASTM, and GR-20). Proficiency in tools like 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, SPC, Minitab (preferred). Experience using ERP systems such as SAP for quality documentation and reporting. Ability to lead internal teams and interact confidently with customers and external auditors. Monitor and analyses In-process and Final Inspection data for cables, ensuring defect-free product delivery. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive action (CAPA) for internal failures and customer complaints. Coordinate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to drive improvements in material quality and process stability. Ensure Cable approvals and qualifications. Supervise Quality Inspectors and lab personnel in day-to-day inspection and testing activities. Checking and maintaining Documentation, Customer reports, SOPs, and Control plans . Manage Customer Audits, Third-party Inspections, and Quality reviews . Monitor New Product Development (NPD) through qualification testing, trials, and validation. Ensure compliance with ISO, BIS, UL, CE , and other regulatory and customer-specific standards. Provide technical support in raw material evaluation and supplier quality initiatives.
