Design Development

Create detailed design specifications and prototypes for new products or modifications to existing products.

Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop 2D and 3D models and technical drawings.

Engineering Analysis

Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design performance and feasibility.

Conduct tests and evaluations to ensure design meets functional, safety, and reliability standards.

Collaboration and Coordination

Work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to integrate design solutions.

Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to align design with project goals and production capabilities.

Documentation and Reporting

Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including specifications, design changes, and technical reports.

Present design concepts and project updates to stakeholders and management.

Compliance and Standards

Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Address and resolve any design issues or non-conformities identified during the development process.

Education/Qualification/Training/ Experience

Must/Preferred (M/P)

Bachelors degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Must

A Masters degree or higher

Preferred.

Total Experience

A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering or similar roles.

Certifications

Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and other design tools.
