Unreal Engine Cinematic Creator - Educational Content Position: Freelance Unreal Engine Cinematographer Project Type: Cinematic Documentary Series Duration: Ongoing project with multiple episodes About the Role: We're seeking a talented Unreal Engine artist to create high-quality cinematic sequences for educational content. You'll be responsible for bringing complex topics to life through visually stunning, documentary-style animations that combine photorealistic environments with engaging storytelling. What You'll Create: Cinematic sequences that illustrate historical events, scientific concepts, and educational narratives Photorealistic environments and scenarios using Unreal Engine Dynamic camera work and compelling visual storytelling Seamless integration of educational content with cinematic presentation Required Skills: Advanced proficiency in Unreal Engine 5 (Lumen, Nanite, Niagara) Strong understanding of cinematic principles and camera work Experience with lighting, composition, and visual storytelling Ability to create photorealistic environments and scenarios Knowledge of post-production workflows and rendering optimization Portfolio demonstrating cinematic quality work Preferred Experience: Previous work on educational or documentary-style content Understanding of historical accuracy and research methodology Experience with MetaHuman Creator and character animation Knowledge of VFX and particle systems Familiarity with color grading and post-production within Unreal Engine Project Details: Episodes range from 10-20 minutes Mix of historical recreations, scientific visualizations, and conceptual illustrations Collaborative process with educational content creators Opportunity for creative input on visual narrative approaches Application Requirements: Portfolio/reel showcasing your best Unreal Engine cinematic work Brief description of your creative process Examples of photorealistic environment creation Availability and estimated turnaround times Compensation: Competitive project-based rates based on experience and portfolio quality.
