Unity Game Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Game Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile games using Unity (2D/3D).

• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Take projects from concept through design, development, testing, optimization, and successful delivery on the Play Store.

• Play Store Game Publishing:

• Manage publishing and maintenance of games on the Google Play Store.

• Ensure compliance with all Play Store submission guidelines, handle store assets, and manage updates/patches after launch.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, artists, and QA teams to deliver engaging and performant games.

• Integration of SDKs: Integrate and troubleshoot third-party SDKs, including analytics, ads, and social media.

• Optimisation: Optimize games for performance and memory usage to ensure smoot experience across a wide range of Android devices.
• Bug-Fixing and Support: Diagnose and resolve bugs, ensuring high game qualit post-release.

• Continuous Improvement: Keep up to date with new Unity engine features, Play Store requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of proven experience developing games in Unity for Android.

• Demonstrated experience publishing and maintaining at least 2 games on the Play Store (or both Play Store and App Store preferred).

• Strong proficiency in C#, Unity scripting, and mobile game performanceoptimisationn.

• Familiarity with Google Play Console, game submission, and compliance processes.

• Experience integrating third-party plugins (e.g., Firebase, Ads, Analytics SDKs).

• Solid understanding of game architecture, patterns, and Unitys component system.

• Knowledge of mobile UI, animation systems, game physics, memory management, and debugging tools.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
