Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Underwriter to join our team at Innodata Inc, with 2-5 years of experience in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting and risk assessment.


Roles and Responsibility
  • Conduct thorough analysis of medical records and patient information to determine risk and make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective underwriting strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with new business opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal customers.

Job Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including medical terminology and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and practices, with experience in assessing and managing risk.
  • Familiarity with healthcare software and systems, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
