Key Responsibilities: • Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them. • Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary. • Informing patients about the medical imaging process. • Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality. • Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses. • Communicating and discussing critical results and diagnoses with physicians. • Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses. • Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary. • To impart training of the subordinates. • To ensure optimum utilization of resources by himself/herself and subordinates. • To be well groomed, punctual & adhere to company policies and practices. • To have complete orientation of QMS & EMS of the organization. • To have comply with the service quality procedure, process, environmental & occupational issues and policies of the respective area. • To comply with patient safety policy. • To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal system.
