Job Description

Accountant Y-Axis Overseas Careers

Location:

Financial Record Management:

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements and ledgers to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Manage accounts receivable, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding dues.

Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file GST returns and other statutory filings as required.
Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws and regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.

Audit & Internal Controls:

Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Software & Systems Management:

Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally,Zoho, QuickBooks) for financial transactions and reporting.
Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and processes.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:

2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a service industry.
Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
