UI/UX Intern

The UI Intern position at avua offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. As a UI Intern, you will collaborate with the design and development teams to design, prototype, and enhance the overall user experience of our products. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the creation of user interface designs, working with designers and developers to implement designs, researching UI trends, supporting prototyping and wireframing efforts, testing UI designs for usability, maintaining design consistency across platforms, and actively participating in team meetings to contribute to the creative process. To qualify for this role, you should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic knowledge of UI design principles and web design standards is required, along with proficiency in Figma for designing and prototyping. Familiarity with other design tools like Adobe XD or Sketch is a plus, as well as an understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong attention to detail, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, good communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for success in this role.
