Responsibilities

• User Research: Conducting user research activities to understand the target audience, their needs, preferences, and behaviors. This includes creating user personas, conducting surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
• User Experience Design: Creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Developing user journeys and information architectures to ensure a seamless user experience.
• UI Design: Designing visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with the project's brand and user experience goals. Selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and visual elements to create an aesthetically pleasing interface.
• Interaction Design: Defining interactive elements and behaviors within the user interface, including buttons, forms, menus, and animations. Ensuring the interface is intuitive and responsive, providing appropriate feedback to user actions.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver designs that meet business goals and technical constraints.
• Prototyping: Creating interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or In Vision to simulate the user experience and gather feedback from stakeholders and users. Iterating on designs based on feedback received.
• Usability Testing: Conducting usability tests on prototypes or live interfaces to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Analyzing user feedback and data to iterate and enhance the user experience.
• Visual Design: Creating high-fidelity visual designs, including pixel-perfect interface elements, icons, and graphics. Ensuring the visual design aligns with the project's brand guidelines and enhances the overall user experience.
• Accessibility: Incorporating accessibility principles and guidelines into the design process to ensure that the interface is usable by individuals with disabilities. Adhering to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards.
• Continuous Learning: Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and industry best practices. Actively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to UI/UX design.

Desired Profile and Skill Sets

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role for 3-5 years
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms preferably
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Figma, Wireframe.cc and In Vision)
• Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, Sketch, In Vision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Superior knowledge of all Adobe products, including InDesign and Illustrator
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
• A team player but can work independently too
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
