UI/UX designer

As a UI/UX designer at Tata Elxsi, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for automotive HMI platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting design research activities, and ensuring that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in designing UI layouts, components, and visual styles for automotive HMI platforms. - Contribute to UX design through wireframes, user flows, and interaction patterns. - Support design research activities, such as competitive benchmarking and usability studies. - Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications using Figma. - Collaborate with UX researchers, visual designers, and HMI developers. - Ensure designs meet brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and automotive UX best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. - Proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and component-based workflows. - Understanding of UI design principles and UX fundamentals. - Knowledge of design research methods and strong visual design skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Passion for automotive design and emerging in-vehicle technologies. Good to Have: - Exposure to motion design or micro-interaction prototyping. - Knowledge of automotive HMI trends and standards. - Experience with other design tools like Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
