UI Production Designer

As an experienced UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating user interface screens, components, and solutions for web and mobile apps within a multidisciplinary team. In this fast-paced, Agile environment, you will work collaboratively to meet complex business requirements and user needs. Your responsibilities will also include unifying and maintaining our Design Systems and shared interactive component libraries. By reinforcing design guidelines, best practices, and standards, you will ensure consistency and efficiency in design processes. Furthermore, you will develop conceptual diagrams, mocks, and prototypes for testing and analysis. Your ability to provide a clear rationale behind design decisions to stakeholders will be essential in driving successful outcomes. As a self-motivated individual, you will take ownership of existing and new UIs. By evaluating them regularly, you will identify opportunities for improvement and present your ideas to the business teams effectively. To excel in this role, you should have 6-8+ years of design experience, with a focus on UI design. Proficiency in tools like Figma and Miro, or similar platforms, is crucial. Additionally, a strong understanding of Design Systems and Design System Documentation is required. Your expertise in mobile and responsive design, along with knowledge of Android design patterns, will be key assets. Experience in producing interactive prototypes for usability testing and awareness of accessibility and inclusive design standards are highly valued. Moreover, your ability to work in a lean, Agile process and align user goals with business objectives will be critical. An online portfolio showcasing your successful projects and familiarity with the retail industry are advantageous. If you hold an undergraduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction or Graphic/Digital Design, it will further enhance your eligibility for this role.
