Job Description

We are looking for a skilled professional with 5 to 12 years of experience to join our team as an Application Lead in GDS Tax Technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and information technology, with expertise in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) and hands-on experience with S4HANA. ### Roles and Responsibility Assist project teams in estimating architecture design effort and develop/review/approve architecture designs. Serve as a subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical solutions. Lead the solution design and development of Tax tools and technology solutions. Communicate effectively with senior IT leaders on program strategies and plans, negotiating quality solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems. ### Job Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, MBA, or MCA. 5-12 years of overall experience in Sap Global Trade Services (GTS). Hands-on experience with SAP GTS Customs management, including Export and Import processes, Inward Process, Transit/Presentation, Bonded warehouse, Electronic filing, and product classification. Experience with SAP GTS Compliance Management, including Sanction party list screening, Embargo, Product Classification, and Legal control (Export, Import). Strong understanding of technology tools such as SAP GTS Compliance Management and SAP GTS Customs management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to understand business requirements, design feasible technical solutions, and drive detailed application design in SAP applications by leveraging SAP standard solutions. Hands-on experience with configuration settings in Feeder systems (ECC/S4) like document types and master data. Gather application-specific project requirements, participate in pre-project launch discussions with architects, and drive detailed application design in SAP applications by leveraging SAP standard solutions wherever possible. Team player with people management skills. Scrum and Project management experience.
