Job Description

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality user interfaces.

Develop responsive and accessible web applications using modern front-end technologies.
Translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional UI components.
Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Maintain and improve existing codebases and UI components.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to UI development best practices.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure UI meets functional and visual expectations.
Stay updated with emerging UI trends, frameworks, and technologies.
Explore, evaluate, and integrate open-source UI frameworks, libraries, and components into enterprise applications.
Customize and extend open-source UI packages to meet project-specific requirements.
Contribute to open-source communities by fixing UI issues, enhancing documentation, or building reusable components.
Research and recommend open-source tools and best practices to improve development efficiency and scalability.

Skills Required

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Strong experience with React.js, Next.js Angular, or Vue.js.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to work with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Experience with build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience in analyzing and working with large open-source UI codebases.
Ability to build reusable UI components and share them as open-source packages or internal libraries.
Familiarity with open-source collaboration workflows (forking, branching, PRs, issues)
Understanding of accessibility, localization, and internationalization in open-source-driven UI projects.
Strong debugging skills for resolving UI issues in open-source dependencies.
