As an experienced professional in the field of travel management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of International group travel, focusing mainly on land arrangements. Your role will involve developing and enforcing procedures and policies for your team, as well as negotiating contracts with travel service providers such as hotels, DMCs, and attractions. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and staying updated on state and foreign travel changes and policies will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You should be prepared to accompany sales for business closures and reconnaissance visits as needed. Additionally, you will be expected to identify and evaluate potential value-generating projects to enhance the overall business objectives. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an International MICE contracting/sales role. You should have individually managed a minimum of 50 crore (TTV) worth of business in your previous organization and have traveled to at least 10 international destinations as part of managing groups. Experience working across international timelines and communities, along with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, organizational skills, outstanding customer service, and discretion in handling confidential information are essential.
