Travel Expert Sales

Role Overview: As a Travel Sales Expert, your main responsibility will be to drive sales and revenue growth by assisting clients in planning and booking travel-related services. You will provide personalized travel recommendations, build strong client relationships, and ensure a seamless booking experience. To excel in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of travel destinations, products, and industry trends, along with excellent sales and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: - Fluent in English, Hindi, and the local language. - Possess good general knowledge of destinations both within and outside India. - Experience in handling group inclusive tours and free independent travelers. - Generate insights of travel bookings by gathering requirements, obtaining rates from suppliers, making costings, and closing deals. - Customize/group packages for individuals and groups, responding to client queries promptly. - Coordinate and negotiate with hotels, tour vendors, and relevant DMCs for better rates and availability. - Conduct timely follow-ups with clients and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings. - Maintain long-term relationships with clients and handle any amendments or requests promptly. - Work efficiently under pressure to achieve targets and deliver excellent performance. - Provide sales reports to the team lead and assist in building and maintaining a successful sales team. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Tourism or a related field. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in international sales, with a focus on travel sales. - Strong understanding of global travel markets and international business practices. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and the MS Office Suite. - Multilingual abilities are considered a plus.
