Travel Consultant (Must Have IATA Or GDS Certification In Last 6 Months)

We are seeking professionally trained airline ticketing agents certified by IATA or recognized institutions for our travel platform operations in India. The ideal candidates must have successfully completed a recognized airline ticketing course delivered by IATA, an IATA member airline, or a GDS provider. This role involves handling airline ticketing with accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced travel booking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Issue and manage airline tickets using global distribution systems (GDS).

• Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications as per airline policies.

• Ensure compliance with airline ticketing regulations and fare rules.

• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve ticketing-related queries.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline schedules, fare changes, and industry updates.

• Collaborate with travel consultants and other operational teams for smooth booking flows.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of a formal airline ticketing training course administered by:

• IATA recognized training centers, OR

• IATA member airlines, OR

• Global Distribution System (GDS) providers (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre etc.).

• Training from other organizations will be considered only exceptionally and requires verification.

• Work experience alone is NOT accepted as a substitute for certified, professional training.

• Strong proficiency in at least one major GDS system.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with BSP, electronic ticketing processes, and travel industry regulations.

• Prior experience with corporate travel or B2B travel platforms is an advantage.
