Job Description

As a Travel Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for clients seeking to plan and book domestic travel experiences. Your expertise will lie in providing personalized recommendations, curating itineraries, and securing the best deals for flights, accommodations, and activities, with a particular emphasis on domestic destinations and leveraging strong relationships with local hotels and other travel partners.  Key Responsibilities: Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand travel preferences, budget, and specific needs.  Develop customized travel itineraries and packages based on client requirements.  Destination Expertise: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of various domestic destinations, including popular tourist attractions, local customs, culture, cuisine, and transportation options.  Stay updated on travel trends, new destinations, and emerging tourism opportunities.  Hotel Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local hotels and other accommodation providers.  Negotiate favorable rates and packages for clients.  Stay informed about hotel amenities, services, and special offers.  Booking and Reservations: Make reservations for flights, hotels, car rentals, tours, and other travel services.  Utilize travel booking software and systems efficiently.  Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.  Handle unforeseen problems and complaints effectively.  Gather feedback from clients to improve future services.  Sales and Marketing: Proactively promote travel packages and services to potential clients.  Achieve individual and team sales targets.  Documentation and Administration: Prepare and issue travel documents, such as itineraries, vouchers, and tickets.  Maintain accurate records of client bookings and transactions.  Keep financial statements and documents.  Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism, or a related field preferred.  Experience: Proven experience in travel consulting, travel agency, or related industry.  Skills: Strong knowledge of domestic travel destinations and related industries.  Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.  Proficiency in travel booking software and systems.  Strong sales and negotiation skills.  Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Detail-oriented and highly organized.  Problem-solving skills.  Language Skills: Fluency in Hindi and English is a must. Knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.  Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package, Opportunities for professional development and growth, and A dynamic and challenging work environment.
