Transport Operations

As a part of the Stockarea team, you will be involved in coordinating and managing transportation activities to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and dispatching vehicles, coordinating routes, and collaborating with the transport team to monitor vehicle movements while adhering to regulations and deadlines. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records by updating trip logs, vehicle maintenance records, and fuel consumption reports. Communication with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, address issues, and ensure a smooth transportation process will be a key part of your role. In case of transportation-related problems or emergencies, you will assist in resolving issues by providing timely support and coordinating with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to optimize transportation processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency as part of continuous improvement efforts. To qualify for this role, Stockarea is looking for freshers with an MBA in Logistics or candidates with up to 6 months of relevant experience. Basic knowledge of transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, and dispatching, is preferred. Fluency in Hindi, Tamil, and English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and meet deadlines will also be required. Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to transportation management is a plus.
