Job Description
· To handle the transport department with a fleet of more than 25 vehicles across various branches.
· Must have thorough knowledge of 4 & 2 wheeler mechanism.
· Improve the efficiency of the vehicles with better mileage, lesser maintenance & depreciation cost.
· Ensure that all vehicles are perfectly road worthy. Responsible for periodic service & maintenance for all vehicles including free services.
· Need to allocate the vehicle as per requirements.
· Should handle team of drivers.
· Responsible for the behavior of all Drivers. This includes their punctuality, dress code etc.
· Should be able to provide/change the drivers/Vehicles when the request is Adhoc / Emergency
· Should handle the insurance, fitness, permit & road tax related activities for all vehicles across all branches.
· Should be able to negotiate with the RTO & Insurance.
· Ensure Risk Mitigation and Follow up Insurance claims whenever required and see that claims are realized.
· Need to communicate with other departments (Stores, IT, Optical etc) regarding the movement of vehicles.
· Focus on aspect of neatness & cleanliness of all vehicles.
· Ensure that there is no pilferage of fuel and other consumables.
· In case of accidents & pilferage, fixing responsibility and ensuring that the guilty is penalized.
Requirement:

Should have handled drivers in the past
Qualification: DME/ITI (Mechanical),any Degree
Experience- 5-8 yrs.
