Transmission Lines - QA/QC Civil Engineer

As an experienced professional in quality management for transmission line construction projects, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality management systems. Your role will involve establishing and enforcing quality control policies and procedures, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with quality standards throughout all project phases. You will lead the development of quality plans, inspection & test plans (ITPs), and other necessary documents for project quality assurance. Collaboration with project management teams to ensure timely implementation of quality measures will be essential. Additionally, you will manage and evaluate suppliers and contractors to maintain quality standards throughout the supply chain. Regular audits and inspections on-site will be conducted to monitor the effectiveness of quality systems. Documentation of test results, inspections, and corrective actions will also be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with national and international standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines is crucial. You will prepare and submit quality reports to senior management, detailing audit findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken. Collaboration with regulatory authorities and clients may be necessary to demonstrate compliance. Identifying and assessing risks related to quality during project execution and implementing mitigation strategies will also be part of your role. Being the primary point of contact for quality concerns with clients, you will ensure customer satisfaction with quality results. Promptly and professionally resolving any customer complaints and quality issues will be key to maintaining positive relationships. This position requires a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in quality management, specifically related to transmission line construction projects. A graduate degree is required, and the role is based in Karnataka.
