Role Overview: At Goldman Sachs, as a Senior Software Engineer in the Digital Engineering team focusing on Transaction Banking within the Platform Solutions business unit, you will play a key role in providing a unified digital experience to corporate clients interacting with Transaction Banking products. Your responsibilities will include leading projects, collaborating with engineers, product owners, and clients, contributing to the vision, integrating business value with experience, and fostering an engineering culture within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Lead projects with a team of passionate engineers, product owners, and clients - Contribute to the vision and product roadmap, integrating business value with experience - Build a highly scalable, resilient, 24x7 available cloud-based platform for corporate clients" cash management needs - Collaborate closely with product owners, business, and operations users throughout the software life-cycle - Utilize modern programming languages, particularly Java, for at least 7 years of professional experience - Develop external APIs using REST and Webhooks, with a focus on Open API Familiarity - Architect and design full stack applications in AWS - Work on high availability, mission-critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology - Hold a BS. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Familiarity with Microservice architectures, REST API, Spring Boot, Kafka, and React - Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (Dynamo/Mongo DB), as well as AWS services - Knowledge of Financial Services or Fintech is advantageous - Practical experience with containers is a plus - Comfort with Agile operating models, specifically Scrum and Kanban Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java) - Familiarity with building external API using REST and Webhooks - Proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex products with multiple stakeholders - Experience architecting, designing full stack apps in AWS - Prior experience with working on high availability, mission-critical systems using active/active and blue-green deployment methodology - BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience) - Experience with Microservice architectures and REST API - Experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, React - Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) and NoSQL (Dynamo/Mongo DB) - Experience with AWS - Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is good to have - Practical experience with containers is a plus - Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum / Kanban),
