Trainee QA

As a Trainee QA at our company, your main role will be to establish and evolve formal QA processes to ensure that the team is following industry-accepted best practices. You will engage in discussions with cross-functional teams to come up with better QA solutions at an organizational level. Your responsibilities will also include creating and maintaining QA documentation, managing outside contract testers when required, developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (both manual and automated), as per client requirements, and logging, tracking, and closing defects throughout the software development process. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and evolve formal QA processes - Engage in discussions with cross-functional teams - Create and maintain QA documentation - Manage outside contract testers - Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures - Log, track, and close defects Qualifications Required: - Degree in MCA / BTech/ BE Com-sci or equivalent - Good understanding of test methodologies and tools - Strong communication and people skills - Ability to work independently - Understanding of the role of QA in the development process - Knowledge of automated software testing tools like Selenium - Familiarity with programming languages like C#, Java, .net - Ability to organize and capture functional complexity in a test plan - Proficiency in creating clear and concise bug reports - Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS - Familiarity with mobile handset testing (Android, iPhone, Windows phone) - Experience with versioning systems like SVN - Familiarity with bug tracking systems like JIRA - Expertise in testing eLearning products would be a plus Join our team in Mumbai Goregaon and contribute to the growth of our Services Delivery department.,
