Job Title : Trainee Electrical / Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Support

   :
• Assist in the operation of electrical and mechanical systems within the production line.
• Monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of machinery during production.
• Address minor technical issues and escalate major problems to senior engineers.

2. Maintenance Activities

   :
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance tasks for production equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical or mechanical faults.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities for future reference.

3. Process Optimization

   :
• Learn and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide inputs on machine upgrades or modifications for better performance.

4. Compliance and Safety

   :
• Adhere to safety standards and guidelines while working on production equipment.
• Participate in training sessions related to workplace safety and equipment handling.
• Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical regulations in production activities.

5. Documentation and Reporting

   :
• Record daily production data and machinery performance metrics.
• Prepare reports on equipment issues and maintenance activities.

6. Learning and Development

   :
• Participate in training programs to gain a deeper understanding of production systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education

  : Diploma or Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Technical Knowledge

  :
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, sensors, and mechanical assemblies.

• Problem-Solving Skills

  : Ability to identify and resolve basic technical issues.

• Communication

  : Good verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.

• Adaptability

  : Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

• Teamwork

  : Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Attributes

• Hands-on experience (internship/apprenticeship) in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and standards in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.

Work Environment

• Location: Manufacturing facility or production plant.
• Work Conditions: Exposure to machinery, noise, and factory conditions. Safety gear will be provided.
