Train Captain Key Responsibilities: • The Train Captains administratively reports to the Train Supervisor and follows the operational instructions from OCC while driving train. • Must at alltimes becompletelyfamiliarwiththeGeneralRules and anyother procedures, rules, policies and standards that relate to the safe and efficient operation of the train and the . • Manage all aspects of the day to day operations of the RST and ensures that the RST is operated in a safe and efficient manner. • Monitor the flow of traffic and assisting passengers if required to and from the train. • Ensures that relevant operational information is disseminated to passengers on board the train in a timely manner. • Respond to customers in a timely and courteous manner when contacted via the Help Points or when approached in person. • Ensures that all reports are sent daily within the required time frame to the Operations Manager via the Train Supervisor. • Exercise their discretion, good judgment and initiative in dealing with unforeseen circumstances and in situations that are not covered by company rules and procedures. Educational Qualification: • Engineering / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mechanical, Automobile, Automation, Electrical Power Systems, Electronic Engineering (Industry Integrated), Electronic & Communication (Industry Integrated), Instrumentation Experience: Experience / Fresher can also apply
