TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) Project - Project Team members

Telecom sector is pivotal to economic growth. It has been responsible for transforming communication, governance and commerce. Hitherto services that were once primarily physical, including banking, healthcare, retail, and logistics, have transitioned to digital platforms. This has been enabled primarily through the use of smartphone use and the availability of citizen services through mobile applications. The fly in the wheel is in rural areas where digital connectivity, service availability, quality, and reach need attention. Adaptation of various services is high in rural areas but they are constrained by Reach or Bandwidth.

Objective:

To design and create a comprehensive rating and indexing mechanism for villages in India leveraging demographic, geospatial, and telecom performance data.

Using data provided by client on the above parameters we are to create a rating framework and consequently an Index for Digital Connectivity in our villages.

Elaborating further, we will be creating a logic engine and rating system using information on parameters like coverage, competition, consumer, consumption, network capacity, network capability etc.

We are hiring for our Project Team to be based full time for 6 months at our Client Premises in Delhi : Research Associate

Academic Background: Bachelors in Economics or Statistics

Job Description:

The team member to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations per the client’s scope of work document.

They must have experience in or knack for

• Market Research – Primary and/or Secondary
• Statistical Modelling
• Interpreting data, analysis of results using statistical, analytical techniques, and models
• Authoring reports containing actionable recommendations
• Making presentations—answering questions and instilling confidence in internal and client stakeholders
• Telecom related experience/project work preferable

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
