Traffic In-charge ODC/OWC Logistics

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations as a Traffic In-charge in ODC/OWC Logistics at Agarwal Carriers & Equipment Services (ACES) in Mumbai. Your main tasks will include managing the placement of various types of vehicles, lorry receipt follow up, rate procurement from vendors, route planning, coordination of cargo transportation, and optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, you will need to ensure compliance with safety regulations, supervise team activities, and maintain effective communication with clients and vendors for efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the placement of all types of vehicles, including LCV, Open trucks, and Trailers from PAN India with a focus on South & West Zone - Follow up on lorry receipts (LR) and procure rates from vendors - Plan routes and coordinate cargo transportation to ensure on-time deliveries - Optimize logistics processes for efficiency - Ensure compliance with safety regulations - Supervise team activities - Maintain effective communication with clients and vendors Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills to evaluate logistics operations and optimize performance - Proven expertise in Operations Management for efficient workflow and resource allocation - Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with teams - Knowledge of ODC/OWC logistics processes and safety standards is highly desirable - Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines - Minimum 5 years of prior experience in logistics or transportation - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred,
