Traffic Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for establishing the Traffic Management Plan and implementing/monitoring the plan. Ensure that subcontractors and suppliers adhere to procedures set out in the pre-site conditions by booking in deliveries giving the required notes. Planning & managing heavy vehicular movement at site. Provide instruction to general public and workmen for traffic safety & ensure necessary signs need to be installed at construction site if required. For Implementation & communicating safely driving and working practices among sub-contractors. Carryout site SHE inspections and maintain the documents. Taking prompt action of site inspection and hazard findings. Compliance to all the points identified in inspection reports. Conduct Emergency Mock drill on regular intervals. Provide guidance for safety precautions to be taken in construction work. Ensure that all incidents (Near miss cases / Reportable LTI / Dangerous Occurrence / Fatality / Environment related incidents) are reported promptly. Coordinate all investigations (Near miss cases / Reportable LTI / Dangerous Occurrence / Fatality / Environment related incidents) along with SHE Management team. Show more Show less
