Trading Analyst

As a Trading Analyst at AlphaGrep, a quantitative trading and investment firm with a strong presence in Indian and global exchanges, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team. You will have the opportunity to work across various functions, collaborating closely with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure the smooth operation of our trading systems. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring, debugging, and resolving issues in the trading workflow. You will work closely with developers, traders, and back-office teams to maintain seamless daily operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in analyzing trade data and logs using SQL and Python to identify and address any discrepancies. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be crucial in suggesting and implementing process improvements and system enhancements. We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in financial markets and trading systems, along with working knowledge of SQL and exposure to Python in a Linux environment. While prior experience in finance or trading is a plus, it is not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams are essential for success in this role. In this position, you will gain direct exposure to end-to-end trading flows at a leading proprietary trading firm.
