Trade, Transport and Logistics Specialist

As a TTL Specialist / Manager at Accelleron, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, focusing primarily on transportation, classification, record keeping, and other trade compliance related matters in Area South Asia and other allocated countries. Your responsibilities include: - Supporting allocated local divisions/Area with Transportation, Trade Compliance & Logistics (TT&L) issues on a day-to-day basis, including goods tariffing, origin, free trade agreements, export control, customs documents, and logistics for all modes. - Developing and implementing trade compliance strategies to ensure adherence to import/export regulations. - Communicating with logistic partners, carriers, and suppliers to arrange transportation and resolve any arising issues. - Managing customs clearance processes for international shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation. - Conducting regular audits and assessments of trade compliance processes to ensure regulatory compliance. - Optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. - Providing guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance best practices. - Collaborating with key internal & external stakeholders to resolve issues related to Port Logistics, customs delays, duties, and other trade compliance matters. Your background should ideally include: - A Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field. - Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in trade compliance within the transport and logistics industry. - In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software applications. - Fluent proficiency in English and Hindi, Urdu and/or Bengali would be a plus. - Professional certification in trade compliance (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist) is highly desirable. - Familiarity with SAP systems preferably S4 Hana and other transportation management software.
