Trade Operations Manager

Role Overview: As a Trade Operations Manager at SingX in Pune, India, you will be responsible for managing and processing Documentary Trade Collections for all SingX trade clients. Your role will involve receiving, reviewing, and processing trade documents, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and agreed terms of collection and acceptance. You will work closely with exporters, importers, and other trade partners to facilitate smooth processing of collections and acceptances. Additionally, you will assess risks associated with the documentary collection process, maintain accurate records, identify process improvement opportunities, and enhance efficiency within trade collections operations. Key Responsibilities: - Receive, review, and process trade documents in compliance with international trade regulations and agreed terms of collection and acceptance. - Collaborate with exporters, importers, and trade partners to ensure smooth processing of collections and acceptances. - Identify and escalate potential risks in a timely manner. - Maintain accurate records of collection transactions and acceptances, and ensure timely follow-up. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within trade collections operations. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of working experience in trade operations, preferably in a bank, BPO service provider, or export house. - Strong understanding of international trade, especially URC. - Professional qualification such as an MBA from IIMs, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or similar will be a plus. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Resourceful, independent, meticulous, with a strong analytical mind and attention to detail. - Ability to multitask and take initiative. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with leadership abilities. - Proactive attitude and a good team player.,
