Job Description

As a Global Trade Specialist at Micron Technology, you will be joining the Global Trade Compliance team to support Micron's trade compliance program. Your responsibilities will include performing import and export classification activities, enhancing classification processes, conducting denied party screening activities, supporting global import operations, and liaising with Micron business functions to ensure compliance with trade regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform import and export classification activities focusing on semiconductors, electronics, and encryption. - Improve existing classification processes through process improvement initiatives. - Conduct denied party screening activities, diligence on prospective customers, vendors, and business partners, and support general export compliance activities. - Assist in global import operations by gathering data, providing invoice support, and other related tasks. - Collaborate with Micron business functions to ensure compliance with local, regional, and global trade regulations. - Support internal and external self-assessments and audit commitments, including responsibilities for process improvements and corrective actions. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree is required. - 1-5 years of relevant experience. - Background in Engineering is a plus. - Project management experience is a plus. - Excellent communication skills. - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make impactful decisions. - Flexible and able to balance multiple priorities, adjusting quickly to meet business needs. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
