Job Overview:

Tower Incharge - Execution

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution Management:

    • Lead and supervise day-to-day construction activities of the tower, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
    • Coordinate with the design, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Oversee work schedules, progress tracking, and resource allocation.
    • Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and legal requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination:

    • Lead and manage a team of site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth construction processes.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise.
    • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Quality Control & Safety:

    • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a safety-first culture on-site.
    • Identify and resolve any quality or safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Cost & Budget Management:

    • Monitor project expenses and ensure costs are within the approved budget.
    • Track and report on progress, highlighting any cost or schedule variations.
    • Assist in identifying cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving:

    • Proactively identify potential risks (technical, financial, or safety-related) and implement solutions to mitigate them.
    • Handle unforeseen challenges and ensure minimal disruption to the project schedule.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:

    • Provide regular updates to senior management and clients regarding the status of the project.
    • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, work schedules, and project-related correspondence.
    • Ensure all site records are properly maintained and archived for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in managing the execution of high-rise residential projects.
    • Prior experience as a Site In-Charge, Tower In-Charge, or similar leadership role in a construction project is essential.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and building systems.
    • In-depth knowledge of project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
    • Expertise in managing high-rise building construction, from foundation to finishing.
  • Leadership & Management Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Communication:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:

    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
    • Ability to make critical decisions on the spot while keeping the project on track.
  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or other related certifications is a plus.
    • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are desirable.
