Tower Crane Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tower Crane Operator cum Signalman for high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience operating tower cranes and guiding safe lifting operations on high-rise residential and commercial sites. Key Responsibilities: Operate tower cranes for lifting materials to upper floors of high-rise buildings. Serve as a signalman, using hand signals or radio communication to direct the crane operator. Perform routine crane checks and ensure safe rigging of loads. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, especially when working at heights. Collaborate with supervisors and ground crew to coordinate lifting operations. Ensure proper crane positioning and load distribution, following safety procedures to prevent accidents when lifting heavy materials at significant heights. Conduct post-operation inspections to confirm that equipment is functioning correctly and all safety mechanisms are in place. Guide the crane operator during lifts, ensuring all materials are safely lifted and placed at the correct locations at height. Maintain constant awareness of site conditions, ensuring that the lift path is clear and that no personnel or equipment is in danger before initiating any lift. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience operating tower cranes in high-rise construction. Valid Tower Crane Operator and Signalman certification. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work at significant heights and in various weather conditions. Location: FC road, Pune Immediate joiners required.
