Role Overview

Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using

  Tosca

  and

  Selenium / Robot Framework

  .
• Develop and enhance

  reusable automation components, modules, and TestCase Design

  structures in Tosca.
• Participate in

  automation framework design and architecture reviews

  .
• Perform

  API automation

  and support end-to-end validation.
• Integrate automated test execution with

  qTest / JIRA

  , execution dashboards, reporting, and defect triage.
• Collaborate closely with QA, functional teams, and development to analyze requirements and convert them into automated workflows.
• Continuously improve automation execution efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills

• 4–6 years of experience in

  test automation

  , with strong hands-on skills in

  Tosca

  .
• Practical experience with

  Selenium

  (Java preferred) or

  Robot Framework

  .
• Strong understanding of

  automation frameworks

  , design patterns, reusable component development, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with

  API testing

  tools and methodologies.
• Hands-on integration experience with

  qTest / JIRA

  and reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good-to-Have

• SAP functional testing knowledge / process understanding

  .
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines & DevOps-based test automation.
• ISTQB / Tosca certification.
