For Tool Room Supervisor ( Diploma Tool & Die Maker )

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of injection molds to ensure optimal performance, minimal downtime, and product quality. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient production operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform routine preventive maintenance on as per the maintenance schedule.

· Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds ensuring they are production-ready.

· Troubleshoot and repair mold issues such as flash, short shots, burn marks, or damage to cavities/cores.

· Maintain mold documentation including maintenance logs, repair records, and tooling history.

· Operate tool room equipment such as surface grinders, lathes, and mills to fabricate or repair components.

· Ensure molds are stored properly and safely.

· Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve tooling issues quickly.

· Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Education: High school diploma or technical certificate in Tool & Die, Mold Making, or related field.

· Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Tools .

· Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of design, tool steels, and polishing techniques.

· Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
