Description

We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool making, with hands-on experience in designing and fabricating precision tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to produce high-quality tools and components.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate precision tools, jigs, fixtures, and dies according to specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create and modify tooling.
• Operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce tool components.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tool design and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of tool production and modifications for quality assurance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all tool-making activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in tool making or a related field.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and traditional machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of materials and their properties, especially metals and plastics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CAD software for tool design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of quality control standards and practices.
