Role & responsibilities

Evaluate Student Responses: Accurately assess written essays and spoken responses for the TOEFL test, adhering strictly to established scoring standards and criteria.
Apply Standardized Rubrics: Use provided scoring rubrics to ensure fairness, consistency, and integrity in evaluating each response.
Maintain Confidentiality: Handle test materials with the highest level of discretion, ensuring compliance with data protection and test security protocols.
Quality Assurance: Participate in calibration sessions, receive feedback, and adapt scoring practices to maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the scoring process.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about updates to scoring guidelines and refine your evaluation approach through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Background: Bachelors degree (or higher) in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
Language Proficiency: Exceptional command of the English language, including strong grammar, punctuation, and syntax skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to closely follow scoring guides and pay attention to nuances in test taker responses.
