TL- Audio Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Team Lead - Audio Engineer to anchor our sound post-production team.

Role Summary

The Team Lead - Audio Engineer will not only execute complex audio projects but will also lead a small team of audio editors and sound designers. This role demands a blend of technical mastery, creative direction, and strong project management to ensure all audio deliverables meet Vrinda Media Lab’s high standards of quality, clarity, and industry compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Quality Assurance

• Supervision & Mentoring: Lead the audio team and manage daily workflow and delegation.
• Final QA Checkpoint: Serve as the mandatory technical and creative quality checker for all final audio deliverables.
• Process Standardization: Establish and enforce best practices for file management and project workflow.

2. Hands-on Production

• Advanced Audio Editing: Perform complex noise reduction, EQ, and compression for various content types (podcasts, films).
• Sound Design & Sync: Create and integrate SFX, Foley, and music, ensuring perfect sync with visual content.
• Mixing & Mastering: Execute final mixes adhering to specific industry and platform loudness standards (LUFS).
• Technical Compliance: Ensure all deliveries meet client and industry file specifications.
