Title Lead Data Governance

As the Lead Data Governance, your main responsibility will be to oversee data accuracy and identify data gaps within critical data repositories such as Data Lake, BIU Data warehouse, and Regulatory data marts. You will be tasked with developing control structures to ensure data quality and data lineage, conceptualizing and reviewing Data Quality Functional and Technical Rules, and monitoring DQ parameters to collaborate with operational, business, and tech teams for data gap remediation. Moreover, you will be in charge of metadata management, data profiling, and developing guidelines for data handling across the organization. In addition to the primary responsibilities, you will be required to implement data governance strategies, support architectures, and develop data visualization techniques for effective data management. It will also be your duty to design and refine solution blueprints to meet evolving business needs, foster innovation, drive continuous improvement, and demonstrate a strong commitment to goal achievement. Furthermore, your secondary responsibilities will involve stakeholder management, creating data remediation projects, understanding business requirements, leading the team, upskilling team members, and ensuring productivity and quality of deliverables. Additionally, you will be responsible for attracting and retaining talented individuals within your reporting structure. To be successful in this role, you must ensure accurate and consistent data, conduct timely DQ checks, and address any data quality issues in BIU Datamarts. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or Computer Applications, along with a Master's degree in the relevant field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in data governance is required to excel in this position.,
