You are a skilled and experienced Guidewire Claim Center Developer sought to join our delivery team. Your expertise in developing and configuring Claim Center applications, coupled with a solid understanding of the insurance domain, particularly in claims processing, will be invaluable. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire Claim Center solutions using the Gosu programming language. You will customize out-of-the-box functionalities to align with business requirements and establish and maintain integrations with external systems through SOAP/REST APIs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as business analysts, QA, and other developers in an Agile environment, is essential. Additionally, you will conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-performance application delivery while maintaining and enhancing existing Claim Center implementations as necessary. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Claim Center development. Proficiency in Gosu, Java, and web services (REST/SOAP) is required, along with a solid grasp of Claim Center configuration and integration. Familiarity with the Guidewire Data Model, plugins, and messaging infrastructure is advantageous, as is experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are critical. Preferred qualifications include Guidewire Certification in Claim Center (Configuration or Integration), familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins), exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance domain, particularly claims.
