Title Air Freight Pricing Manager

As the Air Freight Pricing Manager (Exports) at our leading Freight Forwarding Company based in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing export air cargo pricing. Your responsibilities will include negotiating competitive rates with airlines, developing pricing strategies, and maintaining profitable relationships within the industry. Your key responsibilities will involve developing, implementing, and managing competitive air freight pricing strategies for exports. You will be required to stay updated on market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to ensure the best rate structures. Collaboration with the sales and operations teams will be essential to provide customized pricing solutions for our clients. In terms of air export rate negotiation, you will negotiate and secure competitive rates with airlines, GSAs, and co-loaders. It will be your responsibility to balance cost-effectiveness with service quality and profitability, providing timely and accurate quotations to internal teams and customers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with airline partners will be a critical aspect of the role. You will negotiate long-term contracts with airlines to secure stable and competitive pricing. Analyzing airline performance, space availability, and pricing trends will enable you to make informed procurement decisions. To excel in this position, you should possess a minimum of 8+ years of experience in air freight pricing and export operations within the freight forwarding industry. A strong understanding of international air cargo operations, airline contracts, and freight rate structures is essential. Your proven ability to negotiate with airlines and secure competitive export rates, along with excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, will be key to your success. Proficiency in MS Excel and freight management systems is required, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, based in Gurgaon, Haryana.
