About the Role

We need someone who knows ThingsBoard well. You'll build IoT solutions for our electric two-wheeler businessvehicle connectivity, battery monitoring, real-time dashboards, and data analytics. Real production work, not prototypes.

You'll be working with an international development team, so strong English communication skills and experience with remote collaboration are essential.

What You'll Do

Core Work:

• Set up device provisioning (MQTT/CoAP/HTTP) and manage telemetry data
• Build rule chains for data processing, alerts, and integrations (Kafka, REST APIs)
• Create dashboards and configure alarms (email/SMS/Slack)
• Optimize performance for high-throughput deployments (10K+ devices)
• Integrate with third-party systems via REST APIs or plugins
• Implement security (X.509, OAuth2)

The Reality:

• Debug message processing bottlenecks
• Write custom JavaScript/Python scripts when standard nodes don't work
• Scale systems that are already running in production

Requirements

Must Have:

• 2+ years hands-on ThingsBoard experience (Open Source or Enterprise)
• Strong knowledge of IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, LwM2M
• Experience building rule chains, dashboards, and alarm systems
• PostgreSQL or Cassandra experience
• JavaScript skills (for ThingsBoard rules), Python is a plus
• Good English communication skills for working with international team
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Git, video calls)

Nice to Have:

• AWS IoT Core experience
• Docker/Kubernetes knowledge
• Industrial protocol experience (OPC-UA, Modbus)

• Think about scale and performance
• Have dealt with real IoT challenges: network issues, data loss, device failures

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronics, IoT, or equivalent experience.
