Job Description

As a QA Tester for ThingWorx applications, your role involves developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. You will be responsible for validating data flows from other enterprise systems to ThingWorx dashboards. Additionally, you will perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of ThingWorx services and UI components. Your tasks will include testing REST APIs and service bindings within ThingWorx and verifying role-based access control and user permissions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ThingWorx applications and mashups - Validate data flows from other enterprise systems to ThingWorx dashboards - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of ThingWorx services and UI components - Test REST APIs and service bindings within ThingWorx - Verify role-based access control and user permissions - Collaborate with developers and solution architects to understand requirements and ensure test coverage - Document defects, track issues, and support resolution using tools like JIRA - Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of Agile teams - Support UAT and assist in preparing test reports and release documentation Qualifications Required: - Experience testing applications built on ThingWorx 8.x/9.x - Familiarity with ThingWorx Mashups, ThingTemplates, ThingShapes, and Services - Knowledge of Polarion ALM, Windchill PLM, or similar industrial integrations - Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS for validation and scripting - Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or other relational databases - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and documentation abilities,
