Job description for Role: Head- Thermal systems Software Experience: CATIA V6 & CATIA 3D EXPERIENCE Job Responsibilities 1. Design and develop automotive thermal systems (HVAC) used in commercial vehicles 2. Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software CATIA V6 to create detailed technical drawings, Layouts and specifications for automotive components and systems. 3. Release designs and handle design changes through Product life management software - CATIA 3D EXPERIENCE 4. Participate in design review meetings for improving designs and resolving engineering challenges. 5. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the smooth production of automotive systems and components, troubleshoot any manufacturing issues, and suggest process improvements. Required Skills 1. Strong knowledge and understanding of thermal engineering concepts & hands on experience in HVAC systems design & development 2. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating detailed technical drawings and specifications. 3. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure the quality and reliability of automotive systems and components. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & on multiple projects simultaneously. Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 2. Previous experience in design and development of HVAC systems and components. 3. Electric vehicle thermal management systems design experience is added advantage. 4. Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD)software - CATIA V6 & CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 7. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
