Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Theatre Manager to take full operational control of a theatre located in Koppam, Palakkad. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, administrative acumen, and a passion for smooth customer experience to ensure the venue is professionally managed and thrives as a cultural hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all day-to-day theatre operations—film/show scheduling, ticketing, front-of-house, and facility maintenance.
• Recruit, train, manage, and supervise theatre staff, including box office, ushers, cleaners, and technical support.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to boost audience attendance and revenue.
• Maintain budgets, financial reporting, revenue tracking, and cost control.
• Coordinate with technical and production staff to guarantee high-quality operations (lighting, sound, etc., if applicable).
• Maintain a clean, inviting, and safe venue environment for staff and visitors. On The Job

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Proven experience (at least 1–2 years preferred) managing theater, cinema, or similar entertainment venue.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, patrons, and production partners.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Knowledge or familiarity with local theatre or cinema audience preferences is an advantage.
