Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per the CBSE/ICSE/State board curriculum. Develop lesson plans that meet learning objectives and support students' diverse needs. Use appropriate teaching methods and materials to facilitate understanding and retention. Assess students' progress through assignments, projects, and examinations. Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment. Integrate technology and modern teaching tools to enhance learning. Prepare students for school examinations and external assessments. Maintain records of student progress and provide feedback to parents during PTMs. Participate in school events, staff meetings, training, and professional development programs. Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills among students. Adhere to school policies and uphold the institution's values and code of conduct. Qualifications and Skills: Graduate/Postgraduate degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or related field . B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – mandatory. Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle or secondary school level (preferred). Strong command over spoken and written English. Knowledge of NEP 2020, modern pedagogical techniques, and assessment methods. Proficient in using digital tools like smart boards, online platforms (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.). Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds. Preferred Attributes: Patient, empathetic, and student-centric approach. Excellent classroom management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
